Bird of Prey Falconry Experience
A wonderful Cocktail Making & Spirits Experience within easy reach of Doddington, Kent.
This three hour falconry experience is ideal for any true bird of prey enthusiast. Kick off with a coffee, before heading across the estate with a skilled falconer to get acquainted with a range of birds. Begin by flying a small owl through a wooded area, followed by a wood owl or eagle owl through the estate’s meadow. Next, advance to larger birds of prey, flying Maggie the vulture across the lawns, a resident hawk through open parkland and woodland and finally, the imperial Chilean eagle through hedged gardens. This is a fantastic way to get hands-on with a large selection of majestic birds of prey and be privy to a rare glimpse into their world.
Seven days a week throughout the year (with the exception of national holidays). Dates fill up quickly, so book several weeks in advance and allow even longer for popular summer weekend dates.
The experience will last for approximately three hours.
Share the experience with up to three others and an experienced bird of prey handler.
Bring along one spectator for £25 which is payable on the day direct to the venue.
Dress for the outdoors with wellies or walking boots. Bring a change of clothes if the weather is very bad and don’t forget a camera or a pair of binoculars.
Minimum age is 8. Reasonable fitness is required for this experience as the day involves a fair amount of walking, often over uneven ground and is therefore unsuited for disabled people.
