Bird of Prey Falconry Day in Dorset
A nice little Experience in Bridport, Dorset.
Discover the wonderful world of falconry with this fun-filled day out, surrounded by acres upon acres of unspoiled Dorset countryside. Not only does this falconry experience offer a real insight into birds of prey and a chance handle real life hawks, it’s also an opportunity to explore one of the most stunning areas of the country. Begin by meeting a falconry expert for an introductory talk and a tour of the centre, with a chance to meet some of the centre’s resident birds. Then, learn a host of basic falconry techniques before sitting down to a well-earned lunch. The afternoon is spent putting newfound bird handling skills to the test by flying Harris hawks to the glove, while watching them elegantly soar through the sky – unforgettable!
