Learn to forage for food deep under the sea with AIDA freediving master and author Ian Donald – no scuba equipment or spearguns required. Based in beautiful Newquay, this underwater food foraging adventure not only covers a host of handy freediving skills, it also teaches how to source and gather sustainable foods with your bare hands. Start with a briefing and an introduction to freediving techniques in the shallows of the sea before heading underwater with Ian’s guidance and hunting for edible delights such as seaweeds, shoreline plants and herbs, molluscs and crustaceans. Gather as much as you can, then head back to dry land with sustainable seafood hunting skills to last a lifetime – an aquatic adventure unlike any other!
