Porsche 911 Thrill at Prestwold
A fun Experience located in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
Be the envy of all your friends with an iconic Porsche driving day at Leicestershire’s Prestwold Driving Centre. Feel like a true racing driver for a day, handling either the stunning Porsche 996 or 997 version of the 911, whose style and acceleration are certain to satisfy even the most hardened of driving enthusiasts. Following a short driver briefing with a qualified instructor, put the theory into practice in the pinnacle of German performance engineering – the classic Porsche 911. Marvel at the pace, incredible handling and stunning design of the vehicle as you drive four laps of the 1.8 mile Prestwold Hall circuit. Conclude by picking up a certificate to take home.
Selected Saturdays and occasional weekdays. We recommend allowing several weeks advance booking notice for this particularly popular experience.
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason.
Expect to be at the circuit for between half an hour to an hour, including a briefing and driving laps (driving time is up to ten minutes in total). Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time.
All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared.
Spectators are welcome. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Prestwold Hall boasts an American style diner with food, refreshments and a view of some of the action. Dogs are not permitted.
Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. Any special equipment is provided.
Minimum height is 5’2”, maximum is 6’6”. Maximum weight is 20 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be produced on the day in order to participate.
Feel welcome to spend the day at Prestwold Hall and watch the other experiences taking place. When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
