Outdoor Endurance Karting for Two
A lovely Experience within easy reach of Chatham, Kent.
Guess in what area of racing a lot of top Formula 1 drivers (including Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button) first got into? Now it is you who will be behind the wheel of a RT8 390 cc kart, which reaches speeds of up to 70 mph. Start off with a safety briefing, followed by five minutes of practice laps each to get used to the karts and the full outdoor international circuit. Then pit your combined driving skills against the other duos in an hour long endurance race. Each race for 30 minutes – teamwork is essential as it is the combined position of both drivers’ races that decides each team’s final overall position. Every driver receives printed lap times and there is a trophy presentation for the top three teams.
One Saturday evening per month.
Racing might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) which would make driving at high speed dangerous. The venue make contact if the experience is cancelled. Unused laps are credited for another visit.
The event lasts for three to four hours, with 30 minutes driving time each. Safety rules dictate that if the initial briefing is missed, you cannot take part so please don’t be late.
