Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea on the Northern Belle Luxury Train
Take a look at this Experience located in Multiple Locations.
Have a luxurious afternoon tea with a difference on the opulent Northern Belle Luxury Train, a train with carriages dating back from the glamorous era of the 1920s and 30s. Board the train and be guided to a comfortable seat by a liveried steward. Once the magnificent vehicle sets off on its round trip, tuck into a sumptuous Mad Hatter’s afternoon tea, including purple sandwiches, wonderful cakes and scones, tea, coffee and half a bottle of champagne – but no dormice. Strolling musicians and a table magician provide further entertainment, with a few more surprises on the day. The Northern Belle is one of the most prestigious methods of travel and this is one round trip you’ll never forget.
Selected Saturdays and Sundays from April – October. Due to popularity, we recommend booking very far in advance to avoid disappointment, all bookings are subject to limited running dates and availability.
The weather should not affect your experience, however please note that the train runs on the public rail network and is subject to any imposed delays (although this is one train that you won’t mind being delayed on).
The trip lasts between three and four hours, starting between 12.30pm and 1.45pm. Receive tickets, confirmation of departure times and a full itinerary shortly before the departure date.
