Lamborghini Huracan Thrill at Elvington
A nice Experience within easy reach of York, North Yorkshire.
Driving a Lamborghini has long been enjoyed by A-listers and millionaires, but with this experience any licenced driver can get behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracan for a drive. Once you’ve arrived at Elvington, which is one of the largest airfield venues currently in use, there will be a welcome followed by an introduction and safety briefing. The instructor will then take you out on the course for two demonstration laps to give you a feel for the car and course. Then it’s time for a stunning six mile drive, where the incredible performance of the Huracan becomes evident. After the thrilling six miles are over, you’ll be awarded a certificate as a keepsake of the day.
At least one weekend date a month from April – October , plus very occasional Fridays and Mondays. We recommend allowing several weeks booking notice for this popular experience.
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue will contact you if the experience is cancelled for any reason.
Lasts between one and two hours, including a welcome, briefing and six miles driving time.
Actual driving time is held on a one-to-one basis.
Spectators are welcome and there is a diner or snack wagon at the venue. Children must be closely supervised at all times.
Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. Any special equipment will be provided. You’re welcome to bring your own crash helmet if you have one (which will be tested by the instructor before you drive).
Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’5”. Maximum weight is 20 stone. You’ll need a full British or international manual driving licence: bring both parts with you on the day to guarantee participation.
When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
