Ferrari Thrill at Silverstone
A brilliant Experience located handily in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
Get behind the wheel of a legendary Ferrari 430 coupe at the home of the British Grand Prix – Silverstone. Start off with a short briefing from a fully qualified instructor, who explains racing lines and Silverstone track driving techniques to prepare you for the drive ahead. Then it’s time for the main event – take the driving seat of the mighty 400 bhp Ferrari 430, which can reach speeds of up to 183 mph and has a 0 – 60 mph time of just 4 seconds. Take the car around the Silverstone circuit for six miles and experience the razor-sharp handling and raw power of the Ferrari first-hand.
Runs on weekends, at least one date every month throughout the year. The circuit closes between mid-December and mid-January for the winter shut-down.
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Expect to be at the venue for up to one and a half hours, including a briefing and 5.7 miles of driving. Please arrive 30 – 40 minutes prior to the start time to attend the essential safety briefing.
Share the briefing with up to 24 other participants. All Ferrari driving time is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor.
Spectators are welcome and can bring a camera to record your experience. Please note that pets are not permitted at any circuits.
Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers and a long-sleeved top. Wear flat-soled shoes and bring driving gloves if you wish. A helmet is provided.
Maximum weight 18 stone. Minimum height 5’2”; maximum height is 6’6”. Max age 70, all participants need to be aged 21 or over and have held a full manual driving licence for min three years to present on the day.
When booking expect to be offered the choice of buying a collision damage waiver at £20 to £40 additional charge. Please note there is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver.
