Extended Outdoor Karting
A nice little Experience in .
Put the pedal to the metal with a fast and furious endurance race at a top UK karting track. Choose from either Kent’s Buckmore Park or Hertfordshire’s Rye House track – both places where Lewis Hamilton used to go karting before moving onto F1. Kick off with an essential safety briefing before 10 – 15 minutes (depending on venue) of qualifying laps to get ready for the main event. Once revved up, speed around your chosen track in a 45 minute race against other drivers and negotiate your zippy kart through every twist, turn and straight, in a bid to become ultimate champion. Everyone receives a printout of their lap times and session ends with a trophy presentation for the top three drivers. A must for any competitive motoring enthusiast!
Runs a minimum of once a week (could be a weekend or a weekday) throughout the year in Hertfordshire and weekday evenings once a month in Kent.
Racing can be cancelled in circumstances which would make driving at speed dangerous.
Lasts around two and a half hours, including an hour of driving time.
There are a maximum of 26 – 35 karts on the circuit at any one time.
Spectators are welcome and both venues offer excellent on-site facilities.
All specialist racing gear and helmet are provided. Wear flat shoes and remove scarves for driving.
Minimum age is 16. Minimum height is 5′, maximum height is 6’4” – 6’6” (depending on venue). Maximum weight is 18 stone. This experience isn’t suitable for anyone with a back or neck complaint or for pregnant women.
