London has an array of amazing sights to see and is the perfect location to let loose with a camera. This photography class focuses on the subtleties of taking pictures when the sun is going down and how to get the best out of your DSLR. With an experienced tutor to lead the way, discover excellent vantage points to take snaps in the city and see London as you’ve never seen it before. The class covers ISO and white balance settings on the DSLR, tripod usage, using speed shutter light effects to create light trails and usage of the aperture settings to create perfect night time images. Come home with great imagery and techniques to use on future projects.

Availability

At least one Wednesday or Thursday evening per month between September and April (due to the late summer sun, this experience doesn’t run between May and August).

Weather

The course may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain). Please call the venue if in any doubt.

How long does the experience last?

Lasts for approximately two hours.

How many other people?

A maximum of 12 participants share the day.

What do I wear?

The tour begins indoors but much of it take place outside, so please dress appropriately with sensible footwear.

Are there any restrictions?

Minimum age 16. Participants don’t need previous photography experience, but must have a digital SLR camera (with a basic understanding of the manual settings) and a tripod to take on the day.
