Sit down to traditional afternoon tea spread at the glitzy Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Built in 1894, the dazzling venue echoes spectacular architecture and elegant decoration and is often featured in TV’s hit show, Strictly Come Dancing. Take a seat in the glamourous surroundings of the ballroom and tuck into a sumptuous spread of delicate finger sandwiches, homemade scones with jam and cream and a selection of delicious cakes. To top things off, choose between a pot of English breakfast tea or freshly ground coffee. For the those who love a boogie, join in with the dancing, as all abilities and ages are more than welcome on the floor! Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy the lovely scene of others twirling past you. Bliss!

Available daily excluding Christmas Day and for selected private events. Please book at least a month in advance as this experience is very popular.

How long does the experience last?

The tower opens daily at 10am and closes at 5pm. Choose between the 12pm or 12.30pm Afternoon tea sittings (subject to availability). Afternoon Tea has a 90 minute time slot, but expect to at the venue for around two hours.

Are there any restrictions?

Minimum age 18. The tower is fully wheelchair accessible, with special entry via Bank Hey Street (opposite Primark).
