One of the UK’s most eclectic cities, Bristol’s got it all, from scenic canals to epic displays of culture. And then there’s the beer. Choose from two guided tours, during which there’ll be seven different craft beers to taste. ‘Breweries, Brunel and Brigstow’ begins at Brunel’s stately Bristol Temple Meads station and covers four of the city’s best taprooms. Sample local ales from an ever-changing range, with nibbles to boot. Stroll through Old Market and Castle Park as the guide imparts a little of the history of these ancient corners. ‘Grains, Gradients and Grafitti’ traverses steep, pleasant terrain to visit four rad venues for copious beer tasting and bar snacks. Stop off at Stokes Croft for a gander at the impressive array of street murals.
