Ideas for action

Opportunities to help the stink badgers species are limited. However, here are a few ideas for action that you could take:

• Support the efforts of organisations which are working to prevent deforestation in Java, Sumatra, Borneo or the North Natuna Islands.
• Support the efforts of organisations which are working to protect and enhance specific wildlife areas in Java, Sumatra, Borneo or the North Natuna Islands, including National Parks and nature reserves.
• If you live in, or take a wildlife holiday in, an area where any of the stink badgers live, watch out for their presence. Report any definite sightings so that a better picture of the distribution of these badgers can be built up.
• Support the work of organisations carrying out surveys of mustelids / mammals / wildlife in Java, Sumatra, Borneo or the North Natuna Islands.
• If you have any information about stink badgers, their behaviour, biology, ecology, distribution or conservation, please pass it on so that I can incorporate it into these pages and make it available worldwide.
