Badger watches

During the summer of 2009 we were pleased to be able to take Brockwatch members on organised badger watching evenings at a local sett. The evenings were very successful - everybody who came saw badgers. Not only that, there were eight cubs at the sett! Although all eight were only seen out together on one occasion, we were regularly treated to the sight of up to six or seven of them feasting on peanuts and sultanas within just a few metres and in good light.

We hope to arrange more badger watches in 2010. Details will be posted here and in the next issue of the Brockwatch Bulletin.

Brockwatch constitution

At our 2009 Annual General Meeting, our constitution was updated with a small number of minor amendments, following a postal ballot of Brockwatch members.

You can now download a PDF version of the constution (Adobe Acrobat Reader required).
