We have supported the Badger Trust's campaigns in the following ways: Local publicityWe have obtained coverage for the Badger Trust's campaign against the badger cull in the local press and radio, by issuing press releases and giving interviews. Distributing leafletsCopies of the Badger Trust's campaign leaflets have been circulated to our members, and made available to the public at the events we have attended. Collecting signatures on petitionsBy circulating copies of the Badger Trust's petitions against culling and snaring to our members, and by inviting people to sign these petitions at events we have attended, we have gathered many hundreds of signatures. Making a submission to DEFRA's consultation on badger cullingDEFRA conducted a public consultation on badger culling as a means of dealing with bovine TB, from 15th December 2005 to 10th March 2006. Brockwatch submitted a response to the consultation, spelling out in detail the reasons for our opposition to badger culling.
