National Badger Day In Britain, the National Federation of Badger Groups (NFBG) does a lot of work to save badgers. All this work costs money though, and NFBG always needs more funds to help with its work.
On National Badger Day, people all over the country take part in fund-raising events. Most of the events are held by local Badger Groups, but schools and other groups can also take part.
Why not see if you can take part in an event to raise funds for the NFBG on National Badger Day this year? Perhaps your school, youth club, or guides / scout pack could organise an event? Here are some ideas: Whatever you do, try to have fun while you raise funds!
If you raise funds for the NFBG, you or your group will be sent a special certificate once your donation has been received. But best of all, you will know that you have done something to help Britain's badgers.
