Well, we're just about at the end of the trail of the badger. I hope you have enjoyed looking at the signs along the way. I bet you didn't realise how much we can find out about badgers without even seeing them!
We saw all the signs that you can find at the badger's sett, so now you should be able to tell a sett from a fox earth or a rabbit warren.
We also followed the trail away from the sett, under a fence, and to a place where a badger dug up something to eat. We even saw a badger's toilet!
This last picture shows a trail of badger footprints, leading back towards the badger sett. See how each set of prints on the trail is slightly different. This just goes to show that the pictures I have shown you are just a guide. Out there in the countryside, there are many badger signs, and none of them will look exactly like the ones I have shown you here!
