Bird of Prey Experience in Hampshire

Graceful, powerful, deadly and stunningly beautiful, birds of prey are fascinating and the chance to handle these magnificent creatures is an experience that is unlikely to be forgotten. Learn all about each individual bird of prey’s hunting behavior, wingspan and so much more, while enjoying the rare opportunity to fly and handle the centre’s resident species, including hawks and owls to feel their awesome power first-hand. During the experience, get to know more about the vital conservation, rehabilitation and research work being carried out by the centre on a daily basis and take home a commemorative certificate, as well as a lifetime of wonderful memories. Refreshments are included.
Seven days a week from mid February to the end of October. Dates fill up quickly, so book several weeks in advance and allow even longer for popular summer weekend dates.
This experience is weather dependent. Please call the venue after 2pm the day before your experience to confirm.
Lasts around three hours (morning sessions begin at 9.30am, afternoon sessions begin at 1pm). There is an on-site restaurant which opens at 9am.

The experience is available to fee paying participants only. The visitor centre is open from 10am (daily talks and flying displays take place from 11am). Admission prices are £14.50 for adults and £10.20 for children.
Dress for the outdoors and bring waterproofs it it’s wet. Please do not wear bright colours, as they can distract the birds. If you have a camera or a pair of binoculars, bring them along.
Minimum age is 16. Both beginners and those with some experience of birds are welcome, as the day is designed around your level of experience. The trust are happy to accommodate disabilities or special needs where possible, please check when booking.
Please note that dogs are not permitted on-site.
