Close encounter with a Palawan stink badger

Image: Palawan stink badger (Mydaus marchei).

Comments

This superb photo of a Palawan stink badger (Mydaus marchei) in an urban situation was contributed by Katharina Haldimann. Compared with the specimen in the previous photo, this one's body fur is much blacker, while the pale patch on the head and nape is much whiter. Notice also the external ear, and the stubby tail with its white hairs.
