Comments
This photo depicts a mounted museum specimen of the Indonesian stink badger (Mydaus javanensis). I suspect that the specimen is quite old and that the colour of the fur has changed from black to brown over time. The main points of interest in this photo are the pig-like snout, and the massive, badger-like claws on the forepaws. These features suggest an animal that has more in common with the hog badger than the skunks to which it is actually related.
