| Notes: | This search result page gave a full listing of specimens held for the Chinese ferret badger Melogale moschata and the Burmese ferret badger Melogale personata, with the locations from where those specimens originated. The results showed that specimens of M. moschata were obtained from China (including the provinces of Fujian, Guangdong and Sichuan), India (Meghalaya), Laos and Vietnam (Tonkin), and that specimens of M. personata were obtained from India (Meghalaya), Indonesia (Java), Laos, Malaysia (Sabah) and Vietnam (Annam).
