Comments
This is the first of two pictures of a hog badger cub being hand-reared at Metro Toronto Zoo in 1986. This cub was one of a litter of three. At this young age the snout is short, but the nose and the area immediately behind it is bare and pink, as in the adult animal. The main facial stripes are very clear from the muzzle to the eyes, but indistinct from the eyes to the ears.
