Face to face with the hog badger (2)

Image: Hog badger (Arctonyx collaris).

Comments

This is the second of two superb photographs of a hog badger in Thailand, taken by Cliff and Dawn Frith. The elongated snout with its pink, pig-like nose, and the secondary facial stripe are again clearly visible. Also notice the long claws which are pale in colour, unlike those of the Eurasian badger are dark.
