How you can help the hog badger

A few ideas for action which people can take to help the hog badger.

Ideas for action

Opportunities to help the hog badger are limited. However, here are a few ideas for action that you could take:

  • Support the work of organisations which are working to prevent deforestation in south-east Asia.
  • Support the work of organisations which are working to protect and enhance specific wildlife areas in south-east Asia, including National Parks and nature reserves.
  • If you live in, or take a wildlife holiday in, an area where the hog badger lives, watch out for its presence. Report any definite sightings so that a better picture of the distribution of this badger can be built up.
  • Support the work of organisations carrying out surveys of mustelids / mammals / wildlife in south-east Asia.
  • If you have any information about the hog badger, its behaviour, biology, ecology, distribution or conservation, please pass it on so that I can incorporate it into these pages and make it available worldwide.
