For bird lovers, a falconry experience is the ultimate way to get up close and personal with some of nature’s most majestic predators. Held at Bedfordshire’s English School of Falconry, this exciting experience is set in beautiful surroundings – the best environment to witness these incredible birds of prey in action. Learn all about how birds of prey behave in the wild and handle a few of the centre’s residents under the guidance of an expert falconer. Next, stand back, and watch in amazement as your new feathered friends soar through the air and straight to the glove in a professional falconry display – the ideal chance to take some incredible souvenir snaps. Falconry experiences don’t get any better!

Dress for the outdoors, with wellingtons or walking boots. Please bring a change of clothes if the weather is particularly bad. Cameras and binoculars are welcome.
Minimum age is 11 but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must be reasonably fit as the day involves a lot of walking, sometimes over uneven ground. The venue includes wheelchair access.
