What’s occuring? Head to the clouds in either a Piper PA28 or Cessna 150 for a sensational 30 minute light aircraft flight and find out exactly what it’s like to pilot one of these nimble planes. Not only does this high-flying experience offer aviation fans a taste of what it’s like to be a real pilot, a fascinating tour of the hangar is also included. Check out a host of incredible ex-Soviet and RAF fighter jets before receiving a briefing and some pre-flight tuition. Once ready, board your light aircraft and soar to the skies, soaking in dramatic views of mountains and rolling countryside while navigating through the clouds under the wing of a professional instructor. Will you catch the flying bug?


Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding all bank holidays, as well as the Christmas and New Year period.


Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential to call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, it can be re-booked for an alternative date or time.

How long does the experience last?

Lasts around 40 minutes, including a briefing and a 30 minute flight. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration.

How many other people?

The briefing may be shared. The flight itself is held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor.

Can I take people to watch?

Spectators are welcome to watch the take-off and landing.

What do I wear?

Please wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.

Are there any restrictions?

Minimum age is 13. Minimum height is 6′ 4”, maximum weight is 17 stone. All flyers and spectators must bring along photo ID.

Anything Else?

Flying time can count towards a Private Pilot’s Licence. To qualify for a PPL 35 hours of dual control and 10 hours solo flying is required.
