20 Minute Tiger Moth Flight in West Sussex
A really nice Experience located handily in Shoreham Airport, West Sussex.
Take to the skies for a thrilling flight in a vintage De Havilland Tiger Moth and discover why generations of flyers have fallen in love with these nimble little planes. Following a pre-flight safety briefing, don a Biggles-style jacket before boarding the Tiger Moth in preparation for take-off. Once in the clouds, feel the incredible sensation of open cockpit aviation whilst enjoying breathtaking views as the pilot completes a series of incredible aerobatic manoeuvres (subject to weather conditions and at the pilot’s discretion). During the session, take the reins to get a genuine feel for piloting such an amazing craft. Chocks away!

Flying is a weather dependent activity and it’s essential that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time.
Lasts around 20 minutes from chocks-off to chocks-on. Please arrive a few minutes before the flight time to get kitted out and briefed. Allow for at least one hour on-site.
Briefings may be shared, but only you and a qualified pilot will be in the aircraft during your flight.
Spectators are welcome to watch take-off and landing. A pair of binoculars or a camera will come in handy.
Tiger Moths have open cockpits, so wrap up warm. Wear soft-soled shoes. Bring sunglasses and tie back long hair. Flying kit (jacket, headset and helmet) will be provided.
Minimum age is 16 and maximum weight 17 stone. There is no maximum height, if you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. Unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone unable to climb into the open cockpit.
